Lighting of Candles

May the winds of the East carry away all evil and all negative emotions!
May the fire of the South cleanse and make pure!
May the flowing waters of the West wash away the ashes of sadness!
May the North allow us to return those ashes to the Earth!

Light black candle, place on altar.

Light sage and smudge circle.

Great and loving Goddess, Protector, Creator and Keeper of all Life, we invoke your presence and ask your blessing upon this circle. We are here of our own free will, in perfect Love and perfect Trust! The Circle is cast!

Closing your eyes, let's breathe together... breathing the deep breath of the belly. Inhale... exhale... inhale... exhale... feel yourself relax, as you breathe. Feel yourself become strong... with each breath... become refreshed... with each breath, feel your worries floating away... with each breath become revitalized... as we breathe together... inhale, exhale...
And feel our breath as it meets in the center of the Circle... as we breathe as one... breathing one breath... inhale, exhale... breathing one circle... breathing one, living organism... our breath becomes one, rising in power and love... so mote it be!

And we can stop the fires of destruction,
Healing is a fire running through our veins.

Following the chant, pour wine into the chalice and glasses. Each person expresses throught or feeling as desired.

Grounding:

Now sink to the ground and relax. Place your hands flat on the ground or lie flat. Let the power sink through you to the Earth. Relax, and let the force flow through you... let it flow into the Earth... where it will be cleansed and renewed. Relax and let yourself drift peacefully.

Closing the Circle:

The Circle is open, but unbroken
May the Peace of the Goddess go in our hearts.
