Purifying the Space:

Saltwater bearer walks around room sprinkling salt and chanting,
“ I cleanse this sacred site in the name of the goddess and god, all evil
who infests this sacred place be gone.”

some one follows carrying incense and chanting.
“Her spirit is coming, all who watch in the darkness be blinded, for her
spirit is coming.”
 
 

Calling the quarters:

East:
Spirits of the east, element of air, come forth unto this place, and sing
your blessings.  bring forth your sweet smells and your calming breath,
join with us tonight.

South:
Spirits of the south, element of fire, come forth unto this place and
shine your light. bring forth your warming heart, your dancing sparkle and
your raging spirit, join with us tonight.

West:
Spirits of the west, element of water, come forth unto this place, and
cleanse us. bring forth your rushing power,your sweet wine and your soft
rain, join with us tonight.

North:
Spirits of the north, come forth unto this place, and shelter us.
bring forth your fertile womb, your strong back and your ancient wisdom,
join with us tonight. Invocation of the Goddess: Ancient mother of the
moon and stars, tonight we have gathered in your honor, to dance and sing
in your praises, to celebrate the joy of your eternal beauty. as a coven
of sisters and brothers we have gathered on this Sabbat. and we ask you oh
silver goddess of the triple moon to join with us, to teach us of the old
ways, and to bask in your spirit.
 

Invocation of the God:
Ancient Father of the green forests, tonight we have gathered to worship
your final flight across the sky, for tomorrow is the new year, and you
shall become the seed of your own rebirth. Join with us tonight, for this
is your celebration. Dance with us, and sing with us. hold hands with us,
and help us through your primeval world.  Grant us your spirit here
tonight.
 

Casting the circle:
(The circle will be drawn with a wand.)
after circle is cast coven will chant.
”This is a time that is not a time, in a place that is not a place, on a
day that is not a day. I stand at the threshold between the worlds, before
the veil of the mysteries. May the ancient ones help and protect me on my
magical journey, the circle is cast.
 

Lighting of the black candle:
Tonight we gather in feast and celebration in honor of the many who have
gone before,  the wall between our worlds is the thinnest, and we gather
to remember you, to once again speak of the ones whom have crossed our
paths and have left our world. We still remember and love you. Long lost,
but never forgotten.

 (the black candle is lighted)

this is the feast of the dead,the final night of the wheel, that brings us
to the thinnest veil. The gates stand open between our worlds, and you are
once again given free will, if invited, to walk among us on this one
night.

we honor the voices of our ancestors that come on the whispering wind.
this night, the strongest for communication with those gone into Emania,
The veil has been lifted that we may know that we are not forgotten. all
those who wish us well are welcomed to join us here in the circle.

(each coven member will then say a name of a person or persons they wish to remember.)
 

Feast:
The coven will say:
We ask all who have gathered here to join us in this feast.

(after food has been passed out, each person will lift up their plate and say)
May I always have good health, prosperity and happiness.

(Each person will set aside their plates and the cider will be passed around)

May I always be strong in body, mind and spirit. To the old Gods! Merry
meet and merry part and merry meet again.
(the feasting will now take place)
 

Dedication to the God & Goddess:

(Each member will turn to the goddess candle and chant)
The never stopping wheel of the year has again turned. The time for the
harvest has again come. We have sown our many seeds since the last
Samhain. Let the good be harvested; let those who would hinder or harm us
be cast aside. The triple goddess has covered us with her warming hands,
guided our steps, heard our desires, and for this we give her honor and
love.

(Each member will turn to the god candle and chant)
The never stopping wheel of the year has again turned, and the time of the
harvest has again come. Once more we stand quietly before the thin veil.,
before the iron gate that divides our worlds. The triple God has protected
us with his mighty sword, guided our steps, heard our desires, for this we
give him honor and love.

(Each member will hold the candle representing their elements and chant...)

Give us Oh great ones, the courage to follow our living path, grant us the
wisdom and listen to our desires, guide us and protect us. and lead us
always in knowledge and fulfillment.

now stand quietly as you ask of the gods your personal requests, and
listen to the advice of the souls in Emania when finished say

“All love and honor the Great lady and her lord. Blessed Be!”

(Now is the time for divination, communication and/or spell work.)
 

Dismissing the spirits from Emania:

Oh souls of our ancestors, thank you for joining with us and dining with
us, may your memory live strong in our hearts, and we shall meet again
when once more the gates are opened, our blessings go with you on this
night.” (extinguish the black candle)
 
 

Dismissing the Goddess and God:

Dismissing the God
“Oh great lord of the sun and forests, our many thanks for your spirit
here tonight, you shall remain free in our hearts, and our thoughts, shall
go with you as you ride your final journey across the sky, once more
becoming the seed of your own rebirth, as always the cycle shall never
end. Go with grace, and lead us always with your strong spirit.”

Dismissing the Goddess,
“Oh great lady of the triple moon, our many thanks for your spirit here
with us tonight, as our wise grandmother we shall remain as your
servants,sisters and brothers as once more the wheel will spin, and we
shall remain by your side as once more you will be reborn as our virgin
sister. Your love remains with us and your spirit guides us as we begin
the cold winter. Go with grace your eternal majesty.
 
 

Dismissing the Quarters:

We thank you spirits of the north element of earth, our many thanks to
your presence here tonight, go if you must stay if you will, and always
shall we remain grateful of your strength beneath our feet.

We thank you spirits of the west element of water. our many thanks to your
presence here tonight. Go if you must stay if you will, and always shall
we be grateful to your flowing rivers and quiet rains, cleansing us with
their refreshing beauty, and magic.

We thank you spirits of the south element of fire. our many thanks to your
presence here tonight, go if you must stay if you will, and always shall
we remain grateful to your warming flames and shining eyes.

We thank you spirits of the east element of air. our many thanks for your
presence here tonight, go if you must stay if you will, and always shall
we remain grateful for your singing gales and haunting spirit.
 

Opening the circle.
The circle is opened, once more we are part of the spiraling world, and we
must continue on our journeys and adventures through the brightest of day
and blackest of night, until the wheel shall bring us once more to the
years end. Go with grace and keep with you the love of your silver mother,
and the courage and strength of your horned father. merry we meet and
merry we part and merry we meet again. Blessed Be!
